Heat & Eat

When you receive your lasagna, it has been par-baked and then frozen - it is totally safe to eat as is (there's nothing "raw" about it!), but you’ll get the best results from heating it in your home oven until the internal temperature reaches 160ºF. Here are some basic guidelines:

1. Remove plastic wrap and paper lid, exposing the lasagna.
2. Place frozen lasagna in cold oven and set to 350ºF. Once temperature is reached, cook for 45-60 minutes, or until desired doneness.
3. Let cool and enjoy! Eat it out of the container or cut the tin with shears and plate for a fancy presentation!

Pro tip: All ovens are different, so to make sure the cheese is melted in the center, use a thermometer or poke it with a knife to check the temperature! We love our lasagna well-done to achieve those desirable crispy edges. If you’d like to cut down on the cooking time, defrost in the refrigerator overnight!
